After the global pandemic, we conducted in-depth industry research on the best protective materials and equipment on the market.
We invested in advanced technology including Surgically Clean Air units and the UV Angel, an air purification system. These state-of-the-art units help to make Strongsville Dental & Laser Aesthetics arguably the cleanest dental practice in the state. It is a high level of continuous protection we are proud to offer.
We have also updated patient protocols and policies that offer you peace of mind and safety.
Surgically Clean Air
Surgically Clean Air is the highest standard in the industry.
Surgically Clean Air’s purifiers use multi-stage air purifying technologies that work together to clean, purify, and re-energize the indoor air. The six (6) stage filtration system captures dust particles, pollen, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), gases, mold, allergens, viruses, odors (like formaldehyde and smoke), bio-aerosols, and many other pollutants that are found in the inside air in workplaces. The negative ion generator makes indoors feel pure, clean, and energized to help combat fatigue. For an air purifier to deliver its benefits throughout the indoor space it needs to move large volumes of air through its filtration system effectively without impacting those people that are closest to it or being too loud.
UV Angel Air
This is the guardian angel of clean air. UV Angels are here at Strongsville Dental & Laser Aesthetics. Installed directly into a traditional ceiling light fixture, UV Angel Air is an unobtrusive environmental treatment system that uses ultraviolet light to automatically and continually treat the air. This investment will give our patients peace of mind when they are undergoing any treatment in our office.
In the arsenal of infection prevention, ultraviolet lights are used throughout health care and other environments to neutralize microorganisms on surfaces, in water, and in the air.
UV Angel technology has been shown to have elimination rates of over 99.99%.
Mobile Chairside HEPA Filtration Units
There are five of these units in the practice. These units remove High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters that can remove nearly 98 percent of virus particles.
Electronic Forms
No more filling out paperwork by hand. We will email you simple, easy-to-navigate forms that can be filled out and signed electronically – quickly and efficiently. This also cuts out any time in a waiting room and no need to touch a clipboard or stacks of paper.
Appointments
Our appointments now have built-in spaces of 15 – 20 minutes between patients so that our team can appropriately clean and disinfect exam rooms and surfaces.
Glass Barriers at Front Desk
We now have glass barriers at the front desk to protect our team and visitors.
Temperature
All patients will have their temperature taken and answer a series of questions regarding their health, travel, and potential exposure to COVID-19. Patients will be required to use sanitizers and wear a mask before entering their dedicated exam room. Our team adheres to the same policy. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
Masks
All our team members performing and participating in a procedure will wear two masks and a shield. Triple protection.
Disposable Fluid-Repellent Body Coverings
Our team members performing and participating in procedures will wear disposable fluid-repellent body coverings. These coverings are disposed of immediately after treatment.
Cold Fogging
This proven technique sprays a powerful solution in a fine mist.
Hypochlorous Acid is the best solution to use for Cold Fogging. It takes up to half an hour for bleach to do the job. Hypochlorous acid’s lack of electrical charge allows it to penetrate the protective lipid barrier surrounding the viral particles quickly and destroy the proteins in a matter of seconds.
