Sometimes people have excessive gums that need to be reshaped or contoured. Much of the time, this is performed for cosmetic reasons. Perhaps someone has a “gummy” smile and wants to frame their teeth better. But in some cases, reshaping the gums offers more space for the dentist to the better frame or fit a crown or tooth. We use several methods including our lasers and the results are remarkable and the pain level minimal.
